Tasty Reads Book Club
First Mondays, January-November, 6:30 p.m.
Our inaugural book club, Tasty Reads was started in 2019 by our owner/resident foodie, Dawn Hylbert, and staff member/food writer Dawn Nolan. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month, January-November. Selections are food-themed books of various genres (cookbooks, memoirs/biographies, culinary history, mysteries, etc.). Bonus: snacks are served at each meeting. We also partner with our neighbors, The Wild Ramp, to create freezer/refrigerated meals from the market’s Harvest Kitchen that are inspired by that month’s book. The meals are available for purchase the weekend prior to the meeting.

Based on a Book … Club
Third Thursdays, September-May, 6:30 p.m.
Book vs. movie — it’s a classic debate, and it’s the inspiration behind our Based on a Book … Club. Held on the third Thursday of each month, September-May (we take summers off), we read and discuss the source material on which films/shows are based. We alternate between current and classic choices and often show trailers or video clips of the featured selection. And what would a book club of this type be without free popcorn?
